The Lions organised FUN RUN takes place on Normanville beach.

This year it is held on Sunday March 9th 2025

 

Attended previously by over 150 children, mums and dads, dogs and even some serious runners this is a just a good fun family event!

 

The event comprises 2.5km and 5 km walks and 2.5km and 5 km runs.

​

At the end, all walkers and runners participate in the raffle which the kids seem to love more than anybody else. This year the youngest participant was 4 months old. They start them young now!

​

The free water, yogurt, fruit and icy poles are all well received by the participants.

​

This event would not be possible without the sponsorship of many local businesses which Lions would like to acknowledge. Mitre10, Southbound Diner, Yankalilla Bakery, Cafe Bungala, Fast Eddies, Lady Bay Hotel, Drakes Supermarket and Fleurieu Milk.
