WE NEED YOUR NEWSPAPERS!

One of our club's successful fundraisers is collecting and selling old newspapers which are used for hydroseeding.

Passing through the new road construction around Aldinga, you may have noticed a green coloured coating along the road. That's hydroseeding – a mix of grass seed, mulch, fertilizer, water and our newspapers to make all that stick together.

The mixture is sprayed on bare ground to give it a head start to re-vegetation.

Your newspapers (no flyers, magazines or cardboard please) can be dropped off at one of our paper sheds at Yankalilla (behind the museum), Inman Valley, Myponga (near the old cheese factory) Second Valley or Cape Jervis.

All funds raised from the sale of the papers are used to support community projects.
